Golf Coaching
There are three main areas which affect your ability to play golf to your potential:
- Your beliefs and concepts: Every golfer has knowledge about the golf swing. Not everyone shares the same ideas on how they should swing the golf club. Your individual concepts will shape how you swing.
- Your physical ability: Many golfer's swings are influenced by their physical limitations. Some of us are fit and healthy. Most are not, suffering some level of physical ailment or disability, or simply very poor flexibility. This will also influence how you will swing the golf club.
- Your golf equipment: Your golf clubs have a significant affect on how you will swing. Having a club which is too long or too short, will result in bad posture. Bad posture will lead to altered swing patterns. If your golf clubs have a lie angle which is not suitable, it will affect your ability to hit the ball in the centre of the club and will have an adverse affect on direction. If your shaft flex is too soft or too stiff, this will also have a dramatic affect on your swing motion. Correctly fitted golf clubs will allow you to swing without the need for compensations, resulting in you being able to play to your potential.

We use video to analyse your golf swing. This allows us to accurately assess your progress by comparing your swing as it changes over time and gives you visual confirmation of the changes you are trying to make to your swing.
FlightScope is here!
Flightscope® is a radar based ball flight monitor. Radar based, meaning it tracks the ball in flight, right until the ball lands, giving us accurate information about your shot, including the average carry distance, club and ball speed, smash factor, back and side spin, vertical and horizontal launch angle of the ball, angle of descent of the ball, shot height, flight time and a general shot classification. With Flightscope® we can create and print reports that add value to coaching, clubfitting or practice sessions.
You can learn how far your clubs go so you can better judge which club to use on the golf course!!
