Kew Logo Merchandise
We also carry a large range of items, from golf bags, buggies, balls, shoes, apparel and accessories together with a range of items carrying the distinctive Kew Golf Club logo.
Competition Entry
Registration for competitions is via entry in the Golf Shop via a touch screen computer. You will receive a printed 'AutoScore' scorecard with your personal details, your tee time and details of the competition and course. You will still swap cards with your marker, mark their scorecard as normal, with the added feature of the 'red circles'. A vertical line is placed through the red circle to indicate your stroke score for each hole. If you run out of strokes in Par or Stableford, simply place a vertical line through 'P' for 'pick up'. In stroke rounds, should you have more than 10 strokes on a hole (eg 14), place a vertical line through both numbers '10' and '4'.
Scorecard Return / Results collation
After golf, return your scorecard to the Golf Shop and scan it through the reader. The computer will alert you to any errors on your scorecard and ask you to make corrections and then 'confirm' your score is correct. Sign your scorecard and drop it into the slot provided.

Competition Results
Competition results can be found on the website, attached to the event (day) on which you played. A hard copy of results can also be found in the mens and womens locker rooms.
Handicapping
To obtain a new handicap you are required to submit 3 scores from rounds played with a club member from any club. Once a handicap is establiushed, only cards from competition rounds will count for handicapping. All handicap issues are now managed through the Golf Shop. For any queries, please contact Brendan Chatham who is our 'Golf Co-Ordinator'.
Pull buggies are complimentary for members use.
Electric Buggy Rental
The Kew GC operates a fleet of rental electric buggies which are available for casual hire. At the cost of $10.00 per round (or $290.00 p.a.) these are an extremely inexpensive way to make your round of golf easier and very attractive financially when comparing the cost of owning and running your own electric buggy. Bookings are preferred and can be made via the timesheets or at the Golf Shop on 9859 2039.
Golf Club Storage
We have the facility for you to leave your golf clubs with us rather than taking them home after each round. Please enquire in the Golf Shop for availability
Golf Trips
Over recent years I have been fortunate enough to host several groups of members overseas playing golf. We've been to the British Open twice and this year to the U.S. Masters. We almost got the Aussies home in a very exciting finish!
Anyone who may be interested in joining me on a future trip, please let me know and I can forward you some details. At this stage we have a few options we're considering:
* Paris 2012 - Play golf in France, then to England to play Royal St Georges, finishing in time for the Olympics
* Ireland 2012 - Play courses in Ireland, attend The Open at Royal Lytham and finish with golf at Turnberry
* U.S. Masters 2012 or 2013 - The response since getting back from the Masters has been quite astounding. We'll definitely be going again!
Our first two trips were to see the British Open at Turnberry in 2009, then to the home of golf, St Andrews in 2010. We played numerous rounds of golf in both England and Scotland, including many of the courses on the Open rota. These included playing at St Andrews, Turnberry, Carnoustie, Royal Birkdale, Royal Troon, Royal Lytham & St Anne's, Kingsbarns, Gleneagles and many more.

British Open 2010
In 2011 we ventured to the U.S. Masters in Augusta, attending the event for 3 days. We also played at a number of great golf courses including The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, host to the 2012 US PGA Ch'Ship, Harbour Town which recently hosted a PGA Tour event and Pinehurst, where we played 4 courses incouding the faned Pinehurst #2.
