Tour : Hole 14

Blue

There is good space at the front/left to run the ball onto the green and into the middle. There is a shoulder on the right side of the green to hold your shot if you choose to fly the bunker. This great par 3 hole has a classic Graham Grant design with a singular ‘short-side’ bunker on one side of the green and tight, undulating surrounds on the other sides – very demanding on the short game if you miss the green. Par is a good score on this one, especially from the back marks.

Red

For the shorter hitters, aim to the left hand side of the green which allows for an easy approach if the pin is tucked back right and avoids the right greenside bunkers. For the longer hitters, be content with aiming at the middle, don’t be tempted by a back right pin.
